Despite the huge hype due to the star-cast, Mujhse Dosti Karoge! was a moderate commercial success at the domestic box-office, earning ₹430 million (US$6.0 million).,^[2] but it performed better at the overseas box-office. Kapoor received a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the 4th IIFA Awards for her performance in the film.

Plot[edit]

Young Pooja Sahani (Rani Mukerji), Raj Khanna (Hrithik Roshan) and Tina Kapoor (Kareena Kapoor) are childhood friends. While Raj has always been attracted to the vivacious and beautiful Tina, he is completely unaware of the quiet Pooja's love for him.

Raj's father (Kiran Kumar) decides to move to England with his family to take up a new job. Before leaving, Raj makes Tina promise to write to him via e-mail. Tina, a fun-loving and popular girl, soon becomes occupied with other things. Meanwhile Pooja writes to Raj asking about his days in London but instead of her name she signs as Tina, thinking that a letter from Tina will surely bring his reply and also to help Tina keep her promise. While exchanging e-mails, Raj and Pooja realize they have many things in common, and their e-mails bring them close to each other. A decade and a half later, Raj returns to India for a short vacation. By now, he's in love with the girl he has been writing to and believes he can recognize her at first sight. He states that his love for Tina is enough for him to pick her from any crowd so they never exchange any photographs whatsoever.

When the three of them finally meet, Raj, to simple girl-next-door Pooja's disappointment, completely ignores her and is smitten by the typically beautiful Tina, who is initially unsure but slowly becomes attracted to him. However, during the two weeks of his vacation, he cannot help but notice that the real Tina is completely different from the Tina he knew from the e-mails. He also starts a friendship with Pooja and is impressed by their common interests, without realizing she is the one he is really in love with. Tina, despite of being well aware of the fact that she is not the one who Raj has been talking to over the last 15 years, cannot resist herself from reciprocating Raj's continuous flirt and ends up falling in love with him. By the end of Raj's 2 weeks trip to India, their parents see their blooming love and gladly announces the engagement of Raj and Tina. Heartbroken, yet happy for her best friends, Pooja decides to never disclose the secret.

Raj returns to London, where Pooja coincidentally arrives for an interview. Raj takes Pooja to a church that he frequently visits and finds her accidentally humming the tune of a song he wrote to her about years ago. He realises that Pooja is the one who had been writing to him all those years since he shared the information about the church and the song in the e-mails. They discover their love for each other and decide to get married. Back in India, Tina's father (Sachin Khedekar) suddenly dies, leaving Tina alone in the world as an orphan. His last wish was that Tina would marry Raj, and Pooja's parents say that they will perform all the rituals as Tina's parents.

Knowing that Tina also has feelings for Raj and she is now alone, Pooja refuses to marry Raj, as she does not want to break Tina's heart. At the altar, Raj knocks over the pot of wedding vermilion by mistake, some of which falls into Pooja's hair, which is traditionally a sign of marriage. Just as Pooja is about to wipe it off, Tina stops her, saying that she is not alone and is glad to have such great friends willing to sacrifice their love for her. Reminders are a prime example of technology doing what it is supposed to do: make our lives easier. If it were not for reminders, my trash would never make it to the curb. You can use reminders to make sure you never forget to pick up your kids from soccer practice or to remind you to pick up flowers on your anniversary. The options are endless.

1. The simplest way to set a reminder in Windows 10 is by talking to your computer. If you have “Hey, Cortana” set up, you can use that. If not, press the Cortana icon, and then click on the microphone icon. If you perfer to use a keyboard shortcut, pressing Windows+C will get Cortana’s attention.

2. Cortana is listening. Tell her what reminder you want her to set. Here are some examples:

“Remind me in 15 minutes to move my laundry to the dryer.”
“Remind me every Monday at 6 am to take out the trash.”
“Remind me on August 26 to register for classes.”
“Remind me tomorrow morning to make dinner reservations.”

3. Cortana will then pull up a screen where you can edit your reminder before setting it. To set the reminder, say “yes,” or click on the Remind button.

4. To make your reminder repeat, click on the fourth box that by default is labeled “only once.” Here, you can choose to have your reminder go off every day or on a certain day of the week. Examples of this would be a daily reminder to feed your dog or a reminder to submit your time card every Friday. Unfortunately, monthly reminders are not yet a feature.

5. Are you trying to set a secret reminder about the surprise party for the person sitting next to you, or are you just not into talking to your computer? You can set reminders without talking to Cortana. Launch Cortana. (Again, you do that by clicking the circle next to the start button or by pressing windows+C.) Then click on the reminders section. Click the + symbol to type in a new reminder.

The blue boxes are editable. Cortana has options for setting reminders based on a person or place, but I could not get either to work. Person-based reminders are supposed to trigger when you receive an email, text, or call from a specific person. However, the idea is that you can get a reminder when you are near a location that you set such as “Talk to Marcy when I get to work.” or “Pick up curry when I’m at Walmart.”

6. When the reminder goes off, a small box will appear above your Action Center in the bottom right of your screen. You can choose to snooze the reminder for up to a day or mark it as complete to make it go away.

Open-source (BSD and LGPL licensed) iODBC Driver Manager for Mac OS 8.6-9.x and Mac OS X, complete with SDK for the building of both ODBC Drivers and Applications. OpenLink Software have been providing ODBC solutions for Mac users for several years. They have recently been active in this area and have a number of software releases. iODBC¶

The Snowflake ODBC driver for Mac requires iODBC, which is available for download from:

After downloading iODBC, double-click on the downloaded .dmg file.
Double-click on the installer file, iODBC-SDK.pkg, and follow the prompts.

Note

iODBC provides a GUI administrator tool for configuring drivers and DSNs; however, this tool has not been tested for use with Snowflake and, therefore, should not be used to create or manage DSNs. Use ODBC Manager instead.

ODBC Manager — Optional/Recommended¶

ODBC Manager is a GUI tool for configuring drivers and creating/managing DSNs. The tool is optional because you can also create DSNs manually by editing the appropriate odbc.ini file. ODBC Manager is available from:

After downloading ODBC Manager, double-click on the downloaded .dmg file.
Double-click on the installer file, ODBCManager.pkg, and follow the prompts.

The installer installs ODBC Manager in the ~/Applications/Utilities directory.

Step 2: Configure the ODBC Driver¶

To configure the ODBC driver for macOS, create one or more data source (DSNs), which are stored in the following files, depending on the type of DSN you create:

User DSNs: ~/Library/ODBC/odbc.ini
System DSNs: /Library/ODBC/odbc.ini

To create a DSN, either use ODBC Manager or edit the appropriate odbc.ini file.

Creating a DSN Using ODBC Manager¶

To create a DSN in ODBC Manager:

Start ODBC Manager.
Click on User DSN or System DSN.
Click the Add button.
Select the driver to use (Snowflake) and click OK.
Enter the name of the DSN and optionally a description.
Create a Keyword/Value pair for each DSN parameter:
1. Click Add to create a Keyword/Value pair.
2. Select Keyword and replace it with the parameter name.
3. Select Value and replace it with the value for the parameter.
Repeat this process for each parameter. For details about the parameters that can be set for each DSN, see ODBC Configuration and Connection Parameters.
Click OK to create the DSN.

If you are creating the first user or system DSN for the ODBC driver, ODBC Manager creates the odbc.ini file in the corresponding directory for the type of DSN you are creating. If you are creating additional DSNs, ODBC Manageradds entries for each DSN to the existing odbc.ini file.

Creating a DSN by Adding an Entry in the `odbc.ini` File¶

If a user or system DSN has already been created for the driver, add the new entry to the odbc.ini file that already exists in the corresponding directory for the type of DSN you are creating. If you are creating the first DSNfor the driver, you must manually create the odbc.ini file and add the entry to the file.

For each DSN, specify:

DSN name and driver name (Snowflake), in the form of <dsn_name>=<driver_name>.
Directory path and name of the driver file, in the form of Driver=/opt/snowflake/snowflakeodbc/lib/universal/libSnowflake.dylib.
Connection parameters, such as server and uid (user login name). Any connection parameters you add to the DSN do not need to be specified in the ODBC connect string.
Any additional parameters, such as default role, database, and warehouse.

Parameters are specified in the form of <parameter_name>=<value>. For details about the parameters that can be set for each DSN, see ODBC Configuration and Connection Parameters.

The following example illustrates an odbc.ini file containing two drivers, testodbc1 for account xy12345 (located in the AWS US West region) and testodbc2 for account yz23456(located in the AWS US East region):

HISTORY
The FabriqueNationale (FN) Browning Model 1922 pistol bears the distinction of beingdeveloped strictly at the request of a FN customer. Specifically,the 'Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes' (later known as Yugoslavia)which had been created out of the ashes of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. In the early 1920's the Yugoslav military was in a shambles. Itsconstituent entities had fought the Balkan wars of 1912 and 1913, thenthe First World War. The arsenals were empty, and the army devoidof war materiel. The Serbs, forming the majority of the new Yugoslavstate, had been an important FN client since the beginning of the firm,in the 1880's, and decided to turn to the Belgian firm for their war materielneeds. Initial considerations for the new Yugoslav service handgunwere the FN Models 1903 and 1910. The Model 1903 was rejected asbeing too expensive. The Model 1910 gained favor because of its relativelyeconomical pricing and 9mm Browning Short cartridge. While the Model1910 performed well in the evaluations, it had some shortcomings as a militarypistol. The Yugoslavs requested a longer barrel conducive to greateraccuracy, as well as increased magazine capacity.

Thedesign problem was turned over to the FN Bureau d'Etudes (Research andDevelopment Office). The Bureau d'Etudes took stock of the situation. The Yugoslavs certainly couldn't afford the expense of developing and toolingfor a new pistol. Consequently, a series of modifications to theModel 1910 were proposed that would save considerably on tooling and startup production costs. A forged steel cap was added to the 1910 slidein order to accommodate the longer (113mm as opposed to the 1910's 88mm)barrel. The frame was lengthened to accommodate the longer magazine. A lanyard ring was added. The engineering was complete by 1922, andthe Yugoslavs placed an order for 60,000 pistols on February 28, 1923.

It must be notedthat the changes to the 1910 design were incremental. Initialexperiments were made with pistols that retained the frame of the 1910mated with a new slide, followed by a frame that held a seven instead ofeight round magazine. Eventually, the design was finalized, and productionbegan. Production serial numbers started at approximately 200,000. (Note: All prewar Model 1922's with serial numbers below 200,000show contract serial number ranges, while those with serial numbers above200,000 display standard FN production serial numbers. Serializationwas restarted after the liberation in 1944.OPERATION
The M1922is a blowback operated pistol; there is no mechanical lock between theslide and barrel. Instead, the breech is held closed by a combinationof the mass of the slide and a stout recoil spring. Operation ofthe pistol is as follows: A loaded magazine is inserted into thebutt, and the slide drawn to the rear. When the slide is released,it moves forward under pressure of the recoil spring and strips a roundfrom the magazine into the chamber, retaining the cartridge's rim underthe externally mounted extractor. When the slide is drawn to therear, the striker is also pulled to the rear, compressing the striker spring. When the slide is drawn to the rearmost position, the striker's nose ridesover, and is retained by the sear.

Whenthe trigger is pressed, the trigger bar presses against the sear, rotatingit back and down. This frees the striker to move forward and firethe chambered round. Upon firing, the case moves sharply rearward,imparting rearward motion to the slide. The case is pulled from thechamber by the extractor. As the slide moves to the rear, the striker'stip is pushed out through the firing pin hole and serves as an ejector. The M1922 is equipped with a triple safety system. There is a gripsafety which, unless depressed, prevents the sear from rotating and releasingthe striker. There is a thumb safety which, when engaged, preventsthe grip safety from being depressed. The thumb safety cannot beengaged unless the grip safety is released. There is also a magazinesafety that prevents the sear from rotating unless a magazine is fullyseated in the

grip. Finally,the trigger bar incorporates a disconnector that prevents the sear frombeing tripped unless the slide is fully forward and into battery.

Disassemblyis effected by first removing the magazine There is a latch on theforward left side of the slide at the junction of the slide and the slidecap. By pressing the latch toward the muzzle, the slide cap is freedto rotate. By rotating the slide cap ninety degrees, the cap's internaltenons are freed from the interrupted raceway internal to the front endof the slide, and the cap can move forward and out of engagement with theslide (note: it is under considerable pressure from the recoil spring). The slide is then easily retracted and the safety locked into the forward,disassembly notch. The barrel is now aligned with the slide's disassemblyrecess. The barrel can now be rotated ninety degrees counterclockwise(as viewed from the muzzle). This rotates the barrel tenons out oftheir recesses in the frame. The slide and barrel can then be slidforward off the frame. The recoil spring can be removed, the barrelrotated back, and then pulled out from the front.

Many nationsadopted the Model 1922, each of them under a separate contract from FN. The following is a short listing of the Model 1922 contract pistols.

Yugoslavia: Yugoslavia was the first nation to adopt the Model 1922, placing an orderfor some 60,000 pistols in February, 1923. Orders for the pistolscontinued into the late 1930's, with service being provided for the Yugoslavpistols at the Kragujevac Arsenal (which had been set up under the guidanceof FN personnel). The pass line and don’t pass wagers are the most commonly placed bets in craps and also the most straightforward. A shooter will usually have to place one of them before making their come-out roll; and in some casinos, players must make one of them if they also want to place other wagers. These bets have to be placed before the come-out roll, and they both pay out at even money (1:1) when they win.

A pass line bet wins if the value of the come-out roll is 7 or 11 and loses if it’s 2, 3, or 12. Come & Don’t Come Bets

These wagers are very similar to the pass line and don’t pass bets, the main difference being that they are placed after the point is established rather than before. They can be a little confusing, so please make sure you fully understand the concept before placing them.

If the first roll after you have placed a come bet is a 7 or 11, then you win your wager. If a 2, 3, or 12 is rolled, then you lose. If any other number is rolled, this is the point for your come wager. So if a 5 is rolled, for example, then 5 becomes your point. Your wager stays in place and will win if a 5 is rolled again, and lose if a 7 is rolled. A come bet may be thought of as a personalized pass line bet, where the point number is established on the first roll after it has been placed.

Safeguarding children

What are the risks to children?
The risks will vary, depending on the type of gambling activities taking place at the premises. For example, at adult gaming centres or casinos, safeguarding systems should be in place to prevent young people gaining access to the premises.

If children are permitted access to adult gambling activities, they may be at risk of being:

exposed to information or advertisements encouraging them to gamble
allowed, or invited to, gamble or bet in a commercial setting

Managing the risks

The Great Kursaal was an elegant palace built in 1921, incorporating a casino, a restaurant, a cinema theater, complementary rooms and an 859-seat theater, placed in front of the Gros beach, and next to the mouth of the Urumea river, but it was pulled down in 1973. An empty plot (later called K Plot) was freed. The absence of any architectonic structure in such a privileged site for so many years was remarkable.

Discarded projects[edit]

At the time the old palace was pulled down, a competition was held to find a replacement. However, the winning project was never constructed due to its complexity.

A new project proposal was submitted in 1972. After a few changes to the design, building work was started in 1975, but after the perimeter wall was complete and the foundations in place, works was halted. The plot of land then passed from private hands (as the Great Kursaal had been private) to public hands, so a public consortium was created for the purposes of constructing a new building.

However, after an adaptation period, and thanks to the positive impact it had in the economy, tourism and cultural life of Donostia, most citizens today appreciate the Kursaal building, and support it.
